The charts below show the
climate normals (30-year averages) of temperature, precipitation, and snowfall
for a selection of weather stations across Maine. Climate normals provide a baseline for comparing
weather conditions on a given day or across a season against what would be expected on average. New climate
normals are calculated by meteorological agencies every ten years. The current normal period is 1991–2020.
